Well done, Laura! And they are right on all points. Women see themselves in your work and your mysteries continue to intrigue. Keep doing great work.

As one of those aspiring writers, I echo everyone's congratulations. You're certainly the most influential creative writing teacher I've ever had and I always hear your voice in my head when I'm writing. Or, more often, editing when I ask myself my own 'NARQ's.

If you think about it, NARQ is the opposite of snark. And self-snark is the worst, so it's good to NARQ yourself.

Congratulations and so well deserved! I've been reading you since Book 1 and it's no surprise to me that you've "made it." :).

Thank you for being there since Book 1. I love all my readers, but the early ones were essential to me having a career.

Congratulations! I will be sure to pass on the news to Keats and Shelley the next time I am at the cemetery. Ever since they found out that you are a copier of their poetry, they have taken a liking to your work.

Dear Laura - So happy for you! What a well-deserved honor, and I love that is being awarded on the 0s (20 years at Eckerd and 80 years of the Mystery Writers of America awards- even a Raven!). My big news is that we're moving back to Baltimore as we are hurricaned and red-stated out. Hope to catch you at some events in 2025. All the best and have a fun time in NYC.
